My work has taken me around the world, from Norway and South Africa to India and Singapore, working with production teams from companies including Netflix and Amazon.

I’m drawn to stories that open up a different way of seeing. A big part of that is helping underrepresented voices reach new audiences, wherever those audiences happen to be.

I believe exploring other realities through cinema helps us understand ourselves and brings people together across the boundaries we create.

That belief sits behind the companies I’ve helped build, too. I co-founded Blackout Media, an impact-driven production company based in Canada, and have served as CEO of Pocket Film School, an online education platform that helps lower the barriers to entering the film industry.

For me, making the work and making it possible for other people to create are part of the same conversation.

Projects I’ve led have screened internationally and received awards including Best Picture at Dances with Films, Audience Choice for Best Feature at the Canadian Film Festival, and Best Picture at the National Screen Institute.

My background is in directing and cinematography. It continues to shape how I approach producing: understanding the image, the people behind it, and what it takes to bring an idea to life.
